Me Bijush Chand P.M was born on September 14, 1976 at Kallai, Kozhikode district, Kerala. Kallai was once renowned as world's second largest timber business center. It is located in the banks of the kallai river. My father, late Mr .Mohanan Pockanchery was a member of Bharatiya Jansangh and Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana Sangham (SNDP). My mother, Lalitha Vaikattil belongs to famous Vaikattil family of Trichur and my grandfather Mr. Chandu Vaidhyar was a famous ayurvedic physician who's ancestors were physician of royal family of Zamorian's Kozhikode. Many of the present family Members follow the legacy and are practicing ayurveda treatment.

My mother's father, Shri Madhavan Vaikattil was a freedom fighter and an active member of Indian National Congress. I did my schooling at Government Ganpath Boys School Chalapuram Kozhikode, PUC at Zamorian's Guruvayoorapan College, Calicut (Calicut University) and graduated from Malabar Christan College, Calicut (Calicut University). I took my law degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University Pune, Maharashtra I was a member of RSS since younger age, and worked in ABVP during my school and college days. Since 1996, I have been holding various positions (in district and state level) in Bharatiya Janata Party (Keralam)
